If you are already a Christian and are looking for a new place to worship God and serve Him, the following may help. Our services are a mix of traditional hymns and modern Christian music sung to the accompaniment of a piano and guitars played by members of the congregation. We encourage the widest possible participation of our members in the worship services through the reading of Scripture, leading in prayer and other aspects of fellowship. We are keen supporters of overseas missions and missions to the local community, which we are in the process of developing through serving outreach to local schools and community groups. Our members are a mix of all ages, from newborn babies through to our oldest saint who is 90 years of age (and still going strong!) with a strong representation of young men and women in the 20-30 age bracket. We aim to build a congregation that provides a spiritual home and opportunities for service for all age groups and to encourage the fullest possible fellowship between them. As yet, only small in numbers, we are a congregation that is rebuilding in numbers, vision and purpose to be a force for Christ in the Heathmont area. You might like to join God's work here!
Dean was a Registered Nurse for nine years before graduating from PTC Melbourne in 2007. After being appointed to Woori Yallock and serving there for five years, the congregation at Heathmont called and inducted him as the Colleague and Successor to Rev Andrew Venn in March 2013. He has been happily married to Sandy since 1995.
